The State of California, an unquestionable economic powerhouse, has unfortunately made a major ideological pivot in the last several decades in a direction that no longer sees employers as the driving force for economic opportunity, but an enemy of the State. Onerous regulations and nonsensical legislation are a daily struggle for the average business owner simply trying to turn a profit. This allegedly “employee friendly” regulatory agenda too easily allows for exploitation by nefarious actors.
